The Village of Keremeos has recently engaged in an exercise to review the community’s current Official Community Plan (OCP). An OCP is a long range policy document that establishes a long term vision for the community, a statement of goals, objectives, and policies, and applicable maps (future land use, transportation, parks, etc). The Keremeos OCP review is considering stakeholder and resident aspirations for the future and will be used as the platform for future land use and capital planning. Some areas of interest to be reviewed include the core commercial area, secondary uses within residential neighbourhoods, and the future use and state of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) gravel pit.
Please go to Panels-Nov 1, 2011 Open House for information that was provided at the Nov. 1, 2011 Open House. To view a summary of the Open House follow this link 2011 Nov 1-Open House Summary.
