Besides the seasonal markets held throughout the year, there are several events held in Keremeos that are a must!
Chopaka Rodeo
Held annually on Easter Sunday at Chopaka Rodeo grounds 24 km south of Keremeos.
Keremeos Rodeo
Held annually on the May (Victoria Day) long weekend at the Keremeos Rodeo grounds, 3012 River Road, Keremeos.
Keremeos Country & Bluegrass Jamboree
Held twice a year, July & September, at the Keremeos Rodeo grounds, 3012 River Road, Keremeos. Camping is available, as well as three days of good food, music and fun!
This event is for old car enthusiasts! Held on the Sunday of the BC Day long weekend and includes a pancake breakfast, food, entertainment and a vendor alley. The event takes place at Memorial Park, 419 7th Avenue.
Similkameen Sizzle Pepper Festival
This is Canada’s only hot pepper festival and it is a lot of fun. Held in September (usually third Saturday of September) in Memorial Park, 419 7th Avenue, it is fun for the whole family. Food, entertainment, many vendors, beer & wine garden, and best of all, the hot pepper eating contest!
