February 1, 2022 update on services to the public:
Following last week's closure of the municipal office due to a police incident, arrangements have now been made to partially staff the office and make repairs to the building.
Starting February 2, 2022, service levels on phones will increase to allow a live answer whenever possible. Should callers get voicemail, it means that staff are on another phone line or providing counter service. Please leave a voicemail message and we will return calls asap.
Counter service will be available but restricted until WorkSafe-required COVID screening can be replaced and some office repairs are complete. The office front door will remain locked, so visitors should press the buzzer at the front door for service.
All staff emails are being monitored, and requests for service will be answered.
For those wishing to drop off payment to the Village, please feel free to mail or place payments in the mail slot at the front door. Staff will make arrangements for mailing such items as business licenses or pick up of dog tags.
We appreciate your ongoing patience.
