On Friday, September 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm, the nomination period for the upcoming general local elections in Keremeos came to a close. The declared candidates for Mayor are (alphabetical here, but ballot order will be drawn by lots):

- Wiebe, Jason
As four nominations were received for the four positions of Councillor, the following candidates will be elected by acclamation:
- Evans, Jeremy
- Elliott, Garry
- Henderson, Tracy
- Holley, Arden
As two nominations were received for the two positions of School Trustee, the following candidates will be elected by acclamation:
- Marten, Debbie
- Watson, Chris
General voting day is Saturday, October 15, 2022, 8 am to 8 pm at Victory Hall, 427-7th Avenue, Keremeos. An advance voting opportunity will be offered on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, 8 am to 8 pm, also at Victory Hall. Mail ballots are available for this election.
